Range imageRed pneumatic detection tube bursting at 141 °C, 15 bar, UL approved.
Pressurised polymer tube that acts as a continuous linear heat detector along its entire length. Where flame or radiant heat reaches roughly 141 °C the tube softens and bursts, and the resulting pressure drop actuates the cylinder valve.
Because it detects anywhere along its run and needs no power, it responds to a fire wherever it starts inside a panel or enclosure. In a direct system the same burst hole also delivers the agent. Special grade polymer, 6 x 4 mm, rated to 15 bar working pressure, red, UL approved, manufactured in India.
Configuration review. Catalogue reference data for Heat Sensing Tube HST: Detection Type: Pneumatic; MOC: Special Grade Polymer; Detection Temp: 141 °C. These values describe this product. Confirm the remaining interfaces and operating requirements against the system drawing and current manufacturer documentation.
Selection checks. Define the signal the system needs and confirm compatibility with the panel or pneumatic arrangement. Include normal temperature, dust, moisture, airflow and mounting details in the enquiry. Device position and routing must follow the system design; matching the operating voltage or physical size alone is insufficient.
Before ordering. For a Heat Sensing Tube HST quotation, provide the required quantity, installation or replacement context, and the associated equipment model. Include photographs or drawings of the interfaces and any project documentation requirements. Ask the supplier to identify the exact offered configuration and the scope of installation, commissioning or servicing included.
