Range imageBlack double-layer detection tube, 158 °C burst, 18 bar rated.
Double layer version of the pneumatic heat sensing tube, manufactured in Luxemburg. The additional layer raises the working pressure rating to 18 bar and the burst temperature to about 158 °C.
The higher threshold matters in hot environments - engine bays, kitchens and plant spaces - where a 141 °C tube could be triggered by ambient heat rather than by fire. The tougher construction also stands up better to abrasion and mechanical handling. 6 x 4 mm, black, UL approved.
Configuration review. Catalogue reference data for Heat Sensing Tube HST2L (Double Layer): Detection Type: Pneumatic; MOC: Double Layer Special Grade Polymer; Detection Temp: 158 °C. These values describe this product. Confirm the remaining interfaces and operating requirements against the system drawing and current manufacturer documentation.
Selection checks. Define the signal the system needs and confirm compatibility with the panel or pneumatic arrangement. Include normal temperature, dust, moisture, airflow and mounting details in the enquiry. Device position and routing must follow the system design; matching the operating voltage or physical size alone is insufficient.
Before ordering. For a Heat Sensing Tube HST2L (Double Layer) quotation, provide the required quantity, installation or replacement context, and the associated equipment model. Include photographs or drawings of the interfaces and any project documentation requirements. Ask the supplier to identify the exact offered configuration and the scope of installation, commissioning or servicing included.
