Bulk fire extinguishing agents for charging and refilling cylinders and extinguishers: FK 5-1-12 clean agent, wet chemical agent for kitchen systems, and MAP ABC dry powder.
Extinguishing agents are selected as part of an approved equipment configuration. The range includes FK 5-1-12 clean agent, wet chemical and MAP ABC powder in bulk packaging. These materials have different applications and service requirements, and they are not interchangeable refills. Before ordering, identify the extinguisher or fixed system, the agent currently specified and the required documentation. Pack capacity is a supply quantity rather than a cylinder charge recommendation. The service provider should confirm the formulation, filling procedure, equipment condition and records needed for return to service.
Only after confirming compatibility with the equipment manufacturer and its approved configuration. Family names alone do not establish equivalent formulation, performance or filling requirements.
No. Pack size describes the amount supplied. The individual equipment instructions and service process determine the charge for each cylinder or extinguisher.
Tell us about the space you need to protect and an engineer will recommend the right system.
Start with the equipment label, model reference and service instructions. Record the agent specified by its manufacturer, including any grade or concentration information. A product family name such as powder or clean agent is not enough to establish that two formulations are interchangeable. Ask the service provider to resolve missing information before buying bulk material.
FK 5-1-12, wet chemical and MAP ABC powder serve different applications. Select the family from the equipment's approved requirements, then confirm the particular formulation and supplier documentation. Do not change agent solely to obtain a cheaper refill or a different pack size.
Request the safety data sheet, batch identification and relevant quality or compatibility documentation. Ask about storage conditions, shelf life where specified, packaging integrity and traceability. Keep these records with the service documentation so a later enquiry can identify the material actually supplied.
A drum, bag or jerry-can quantity describes the delivery pack. The amount charged into each cylinder or extinguisher is established by the equipment instructions and service process. Confirm the number of units, their specified charges and any service-provider allowance before deciding the order quantity.
Bulk supply is not a substitute for correct discharge handling, inspection, filling and return-to-service checks. Have the service provider confirm the equipment condition and any parts that must be replaced. Record the agent batch and work performed. For a new system, return to the system-components range to review compatibility across storage, valves and discharge devices.
